Note: Just a heads up, at one point I drop the F-bomb about ten times. I also sing. Just letting you know in case you find that (the singing) offensive.

It won’t buffer for some reason.

Weird. The direct download and iTunes are working. For some reason the little flash player is broken. I don’t know why.

Fixed. I finally switched to a degradable HTML5 player that James P suggested. Everything should be working fine now.

    This one was good too.

Standard Chinese shit. This is part of the reason that I don’t try to innovate much in my class: they don’t want it, they don’t expect it, and if I did they wouldn’t appreciate it very much.

I admire what you tried to do but ultimately their stupid fucking ideas will dominate our teaching practices if we stay here.

“Please turn to page 43, John, please read the first word….”

Yep. That they want TEFL or CELTA qualified teachers is just insane. They do not want any teaching methodology or classroom dynamics more modern than the 3rd Reich.

How have you been teaching the class since?

    How’s it working?

Hey Emily, thanks for asking. It’s been a little better, but I think I may end up trying to transfer to a different school. I’m going to post a full update soon. :)
